Stayed here May 2nd, 2018. You can park and camp, but no facilities are open. No shower, kitchen or even bathroom.
beautifull❤❤❤
Nice Campsite with showers, toilett and kitchen
Great campground. Very comfortable. Near gas station, small store. Nice people. Right near a hot spring. Lot of bugs. The only downside. Good bathroom. The water ran out of hot, so it was a cold shower.
1500 ISK per person, shower included although there is only one per sex. Small common area to cook in but it all worked well with the number of people there. Amazing views, and there is a little store that had some good cheeses for lunch materials.
Nice view, decent price, and nearby puffins, hiking, and free hot pots! Not very clean but it'll do.
Nice view to wake up to in the morning
It's a lovely little spot they have set up and we were able to see the northern lights. I gave it 3 starts because it was one of the more expensive campsites we stayed at and 2 of the 3 women's toilets were out of service and one of the two showers they have available was also out of service. Also the common room is tiny, I'm not sure how they get along during peak season.
Great view - overlooking the bay. Hot water and shower. No common area, just a small cooking and dish washing space. No wifi. You check-in at the hotel nearby. Auroras can be spotted from end of August.
Great view but the facilities are not the greatest. No cooking area which was kind of a dissapointment.
Campsite with a view! Reasonable price which includes shower facilities. There are sinks for washing up but no proper camp kitchen. Bring a spare pack of tent pegs, it seems there is about 2 inches of top soil over rocks, the grass however is very nice.
