The cottages were absolutely tiny, so much in fact that two people should have been the maximum occupancy. If you're hoping for WiFi, you're out of luck. Worst of all, asides from the lack of WiFi, there are no showers inside your claustrophobic cabin; instead, you're forced to travel back to the reception building and PAY to use the showers which number a grand total of two - one for either gender. At least the beds were more comfortable than the last cottage in Iceland.
We rented a cottage. The cottage was clean (except the fridge), and nice. The only pity was that it didn't have hot water nor shower or it would have been perfect. There's a little kitchenette with enough tools too.
Great cabin experience with basic conveniences. Clean, comfortable and homey. Great place to watch the arctic lights at night. Competitively priced.
The cottage is really small, no shower in it , there is one in the main building, a walk away and you have to pay for it extra. We got no towels, in a cottage for 4 there were only 3 chairs, 3 plates, 3 cups. Really?! Just stay somewhere elsenot worth it.
Really nice cabin, with heating :). Only downside is it being right next to the main road.
Functional, good price
Really good invest if you don't want to camp for one day.
Lovely cosy cottage, only complaint being lack of hot water. Beds were super comfy, particularly comforting after a long walk and bus ride.
Cottage as such is good. But no hot water facility in the cottage, showers are only in main building tat too only 1 shower room. Price per day is already expensive and for shower you have to pay again, not convincing.
The cabins were clean, and very close to a nearby hot springs. Also proximal to Hofn where you can view boats and coastal views! We loved our stay!
Room is small but it is very close to the bus stop N1 and only takes about 5 minutes walk
