Warm and cozy after getting caught up in bad weather. A simple guesthouse with a simple kitchen and a lovely owner who waited for us to check in despite arriving hours late

Love this place. Ended up staying on our way back through also. Host is fantastic with lots of tips and help. Perfect location for access to black sand beach and Vik. Also great location for aurora viewing at the top of the road, away from the light pollution.

Great location, quietness, big room, shared bathroom and fully equipped kitchen(though i am not a cooking-on-the-way person) .

Excellent rooms with all you need. Toilets, showers and cooking utilities. The utilities consist of a microwave, 2 stoves, an oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is also an eating area. Excellent, friendly staff! Easy 5/5, will definitely be back!

Cosy room, lovely hostess, very close to Reynisfjara. One side rooms have a view of a mountain with sheep, the other side has a sea view.

We arrived in the middle of a storm snd after opening hours. The owner is great lady. She helped us out and was supper helpful.
The place is clean cosy and super nice.

Super reasonable and very clean! The woman that owns the place knits clothing from her sheep and could not be a nicer person. We also stayed a night at the puffin hostel which was good if you are 16-30years old and like meeting new people while having some drinks. The rooms here are bigger and more up to date. I will definitely stay here again if I return someday :)

This guesthouse was our best accommodation experience in Southern Iceland. It's very well located, quite close to Reynisfjara, with its basalt columns, puffins, black sand beach and awesome views. The place doesn't look too cozy from the outside, but it's clean and nice on the inside. The kitchen is very well equipped, the WCs are clean and both towels and bed linen are included in the price.
The owner was very friendly and we even got a small present for our son from her. Highly recommended!response / report this review
