  This place is great. The host is a very friendly and interesting character (he survives pretty comfortably outdoors in a t-shirt in the snow) - he drove after us because one of the girls left a jacket. His dogs are lovely. Probably most importantly - the cabin is really lovely and cosy. It was spotlessly clean and there is literally everything you could want there. The views are also spectacular. This place was really special. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

  Amazing house. Clean, neat, bright, warm, generously furnished Landlords are very kind and helpful.
  Birkifell definitely has the standards of a 4* Hotel.
