1x6 is a very charming guesthouse & Yuki & Andi are the most incredible hosts! I adored keflavik & they played a huge part in that, the hot spring in the back garden is wonderful & I would very happily live in the guest house forever. Everyone should stay here so when you do make sure to eat the breakfast as it's delicious. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful my time with them was. Thank you for everything

House is full of character, host welcoming and friendly. Best breakfast ever. And watching northen lights from hot garden pool was experience my party never forgets.

Best B and B in Iceland!! Andi and Yuki are so friendly and kind. And the hot pool in the garden is fantastic. after you fly in or before you leave the perfect place to begin or end your time in Iceland.

Booked our last two nights here after a couple weeks of camping, and it was perfect. This is the kind of place we'll remember forever. Unique, creative, quirky, in all the best ways, and that includes Andi ;) who will keep you entertained and laughing. The breakfast, mostly home made by Yuki, was delicious, and the coffee truly was the best we had, as Andi promised. But warning, do not have that third cup before heading to the airport!

Affordable accommodation in an ideal location from the airport, and to discover local attractions. The hosts are fantastic and the rooms brilliant, each one being bespoke. The breakfast is extra, but worth it. Great place to stay!

Super experience! Great location close to the airport and walking distance to town. Our friendly host picked us up from the airport. It's cozy and clean and quirky with an excellent gourmet style breakfast and yes awesome coffee. They have tons of suggestions and literature for daytrips from there. We were only there for an extended 18 hour layover and only made it for a walk around town and to the local pub and pizza place before heading out after breakfast the next morning. Hopefully we'll have a chance to visit again!

This is by the far the best and most friendly Guesthouse we have stayed in. Andi&Yuki are awesome and do a great job to make your stay in Iceland super pleasant. So does the interior of this designer - created house. We would definitely visit again during our next stay in Iceland.
Don't forget to try the coffee there - professional Italian equipment meets the pure Icelandic water. It doesn't get any better than this!response / report this review -

We spend our first 2 nights in Iceland at 1x6 Guesthouse. We experienced a very warm welcome, beautiful and individually designed comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast and of course coffee. The hot pool in the garden is amazing beyond words.
We can definitely recommend staying here and promised ourselves to come back again.
