Was very windy. Go if you are in the area. Short hike up steps to get to the top. Not as impressive as craters in lake myvatn area.

Visited on a very windy and rainy day, but you really can't get the full perspective of what a relatively "young" volcano can do. Very pretty views.

The weather is really windy so you need a warm clothing. The view is outstanding, looking into a vulcanic crater and seeing the mountains on the back. The whole feeling was overwhelming.

awesome place, many colours of ground was there and that small volcano is very close to mainroad. We was there almost alone' but I think a lot of people visit this palce during the summer and in the tourist season. Path from parking area to way around the volcano is clean and suitable for kids and for old peole too.

Good stop over and top side views. Take a walk up top. Worth it.

This has walkways up and round the crater, which makes it quite accessible. As everything is West-Iceland the crowds are not overwhelming, and on a sunny day the view down valley to the sea is equal to a Bob Ross painting -- just stunning.

Found it by accident. Luckily! The 5-to-10-minute walk to the top is rewarded with a stunning view (and lots of wind).

I didn't find the actual craters that great but the view of Iceland from on-top was amazing. There were also old house outlines around the craters with a good walk.

Great little hike, well signed and stairs are easy to climb with railings. I recommend the full trail that circles around the volcanoes, in addition to the walk up to the summit. Easy and well suited for all (as long as there is nice weather!)

Una piccola passeggiata in salita conduce alla cima di questo piccolo cratere.
