CLOSED in January and February so keep this in mind when planning your trip. All the whale tour companies were closed when we got to the port although I can image it is an amazing experience. Got a brochure and looks like these guys try to be eco-friendly with even silent and eco tours at offer.

A unforgettable experience ! Our guide was very friendly, she explained us everything, and the ship driver made the trip the more comfortable he could (despite the weather). We saw 2 whales that we follow a moment before coming back and share a hot drink and a cookie. I recommend it !

We had the greatest time on the slow and beautiful wooden boat that gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy our trip. The guide (name starts with an N and ends with an Ola(n)?) was the best, you could hear the heart and warmth he had for the ocean and the whales in his voice as he spoke. We got some great shots and met some fun folks. The hot chocolate and doughnuts were a nice treat on the way back to shore. Not sure if the speed boat would be better or not, looked like closer encounters but less time on the water. Sometimes it was frustrating to have the speedboat getting in all of my pictures as they were often near the same pod as the larger boat we were on. This didn't take away much from the experience, just had to be a little more crafty with the zoom and framing each shot. We're thankful for our time with the boat crew and we'd be happy to come back.

Definitely one of the best days of my life. We took the whale watching, which allows you to see the whale if they came to breath in the surface near to the boat (the boat is slow) if I knew better I would have taken the whale safari cause the boat is so fast which allows you to see the whale from 3 meters from you. I was extremely jealous ahahahha anyway we had the time of our lives. Amazing team Sara and Ricardo Fernandez, they are amazing passionate about whales. I was a bit disappointed about the dhounuts it was very old, it didn't taste very well, but it doesn't really matter.

Nice crew. We got some bread and Hot chocolate. There were even some leftovers and we could get it. That was a good appetit! What we came for were the whales. We saw a lot of them and we even saw a few dolphins.

I really enjoyed the boat trip and we saw up to 6 different humpback whales. Sadly I missed the dolphins but it was also impressive to see thousands of puffins flying over and around us at puffin island. I booked the speed boat trip, so we were able to turn and drive much faster than the bigger boat and 2 times whales sam right to our boat and dived in front of us. Sadly I was 1-2 weeks too late for the blue whale season but it was impressive enough. Also at the end the driver did some speed boat turns which completed to nice ride.

What a great way to start the day. Went for the 8am tourwonderful service. Thank you Gerta and boat captain 👩‍✈️. We saw two different types of whales 🐳and saw three humpback cruising together. Awesome snaps too! 👍🏼

A very enjoyable experience. Took the Zodiac option. Saw many blue and hump whales. The skipper gave an excellent whale chase so we could get quite near them. Also saw puffies on the island serving as a nature reserve.

Very nice staff and good service but we weren't lucky and we didn't see a whale. They let to repeat the trip until you see them but the truth is that we didn't have time. The good thing is that if you come back to the island you can go and repeat the ride for free, at least that's what they told us.

Great tour company and we saw a lot of whales and they came really close.
Very easy to find in this small town. Highly recommend.
Their waterproof jumpsuits aren't really waterproof though. So keep your phones in one of the inside layers

Had a great Whale watching trip today. Although towards the end of the season of humpbacks, we did manage to see one, and track it across the bay. The guide was very informative, the boat wasn't too overcrowded, and hot chocolate and Icelandic doughnuts were served for the trip back

It was very nice trip with whales. Our gide was perfect, she told a lot of information about whales life. Little tip: go to the captain's bridge if you want to see hole whale from above.

I haven't enjoyed the trip that much, since the boat was overcrowded with people. The whales were usually visible only from the front when the captain changed the course towards it, so everyone else was out of luck. I had a few glimpses as well, so in overall I was satisfied. One another reason why I would consider this company was the guide. It was a nice Spanish girl but with horrible accent, so combined with poor audio quality on the boat I understood maybe third of what she was saying (for example she pronounced "jaw" as "yo"). If I haven't visited Husavik whale museum before I wouldn't know what I am looking at.

We had an amazing time in the whale watching tour with Gentle Giant. The crew was lovely, Charlotte was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information, and the captain was great at chasing the whales around for us to have a close look!
We saw many, many whales! Loved it!
