3 star restaurant. My main complaint is the place seemed understaffed. We didn't seem to have a designated server to our table and it took 20 minutes to get water. I walked up to the bar and got it myself. I had the beef burger which was actually very good. My boyfriend had the horse steak which was just okay.

Delicious food, and wonderful staff! My friends & I ate here when we visited Reykjavik, and we were incredibly impressed! The whale and horse steaks were truly delicious, and the pepper sauce they served on the side was fantastic! I highly recommend the desserts as well, especially the hot chocolate cake. This place is a must-visit for a tasty meal in Reykjavik!

They serve local mink whale. Not a bad meat, but not something I would eat more than once in a blue moon. Steak was okay too.

Disappointed after reading previous reviews. Took us a while to be seated even though it was not busy. The staff were quite unwelcoming and took the menu away before finishing our order. Food was average, some side dishes seemed like frozen food heated up. Overall not fantastic.
