Great camping space. Beautiful. Showers are include in the price. Only the kitchen is a little bit cold.

Great stay for some time off the road. Coffee wasn't bad, but the chocolate milk was great. Quiet place with nice surroundings like a tiny church for this tiny village. Overall great stop. A real recommendation when driving long hours on the road.

Had dinner and camped here. Beautiful place to camp. Love its secluded location which means no telecom signal. Has a Turf-roofed kitchen with a white cat habitant :). When we waked up in the morning, saw sheep hanging around our camper! Downside: only one WC and no shower. Our dinner: lamb soup and moss soup were very disappointing. Moss soup was very sweet and lamb soup had a strong smell. The size of soup was small but we could hardly finish them due to the taste. Sorry to say so.

This place is extremely beautiful in winters. Snow as far as you can see, noise of one small stream flowing close by and hot chocolate to sip. This place was highlight of my Iceland trip!

Secluded, friendly and good food try the traditional taste of the smoke house (lamb smoked over sheep dung! ) much nicer than it sounds and pretty inexpensive for Iceland. The resident friendly goat is hilarious and the dogs are great too ! We had a room and it was basic but comfortable and we even had a visit from an Arctic Fox cub ! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Not quite a secret but it feels like it. Stay at the attached campground!

A short detour from HW1 and definitely worth it: the lamb soup is great, and if you want something more unique, try the moss soup! They also offer rooms and camping.
