We each had Fish and Chips: Haddock fish was excellent, chips nothing to write home about, and side salad substantial and deliciously seasoned. I also had Fish Soup with delicious homemade bread. The soup had a curry flair and was very tasty but portion on the small size.

Service was friendly, quick and attentive. Locals included an intellectually disabled man who appeared to be a regular as well as a group ? of such citizens sitting out of view. I have two adult son's with Fragile X Syndrome so this was particularly heartening to me.

    Highly recommended venue.

Their fish and chips was surprisingly good - very moist and tender fish, with a thin crust that had a perfect light crunch. The arctic char was also prepared perfectly - thin lightly crunchy skin and moist flavorful fish with tasty sides.

I personally prefer thicker fries, but my girlfriend was very pleased with them.

Stopped for late night food and they were very accommodating. Stayed open for us and prepared the best burger is tried on the island! Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anybody!

We walked in without much expectation for lunch as our Airbnb was right by it and we were absolutely amazed. We ordered fish and chips and the surf n turf(lobster and lamb steak). Fish and chips were different from other traditional fish and chips we had. Thicker batter but delicious, their tartar sauce was awesome. Surf and turf was Alright, lamb steak was overdone but still tender. The place seems like it would be fun at night while having a drink or two.

The food was nice, fresh (fish) and definitely reasonably priced especially for Iceland's usual amounts.
The staff was speedy and friendly.
The decor suggests the place has had the last make over some time ago.

Staff were friendly and place looks cozy but we were disappointed in the fish and chips. Looked like 3 fish fingers and were soggy. Being a fish bar we expected a big piece of fresh fish. Spent the day driving the Reykjanes Peninsula and were looking forward to a decent dinner. Views are amazing in the area though. Getting tired of everything being overpriced for mediocre small portions. Looking forward to getting back home. Next time were bringing our own packed lunches and a flask of hot coffee :)

Sweet service, great beer selection (go for the Viking Stout) and local-flavor bar food.

This is an okay restaurant. We visited for dinner, ordered the lamb and the fish. The lamb was reasonably well cooked, the fish a tad overcooked. The "special" home made sauce was really not something to write home about. The desserts were great though. All in all, it was an expensive yet ordinary meal.

What a great place! I had the most wonderful time during totally unexpected visit in Grindavik. People working there were really helpful with finding us a place to stay for the night and even made us stay there to enjoy the evening with them. I strongly recommend this place, really nice stop on your journey around the island ;) don't hesitate!

Great food, very reasonable price for Iceland, quaint atmosphere. Fish of the day tasted very fresh. Fish and chips were some of the best I've had, the batter was uniquely tasty. Chocolate cake desserts were very good. The woman host/bartender/waitress was especially friendly. A great first or last meal on the island.

It's located not far from the Keflavik Airport, then easy to find to enjoy a good meal after travel. The place is simple and cosy. I took the fish and chips, which was good and not greasy. The staff was welcoming and nice.

This place is great! We stopped by for drinks around 11pm-midnight after spending a few hours at the Blue Lagoon. The owners were very friendly and we came back the next day for lunch. The fish is caught daily so my pan fried Arctic char and my wife's fish and chips were some of the best seafood I have ever had!
