It's a small easily accessible waterfall. Most tourists don't stop here so you have it to yourself. It's worth the stop.

Really lovely waterfall - hardly visited, compared to the other Golden Circle names, and a very pretty setting. Also makes a great sandwich stop, with one of the most scenically blessed benches overlooking the falls.

It was lovely to visit a place and be able to see it without banging elbows with all the others trying to get a photo. We had a picnic but there is a small café that serves a range of food as well as hot drinks or ice cream. The only toilets are in the café and free to customers, or for a small charge for non customers.

Might be a bit coloured since I arrived on a day with 20C and sun. But this is a lovely stop. You can cook and eat your own food at some benches on a nice look-out point from the water fall. There is also a camping site close by. Wish every stop developed for tourists were this good.

This is a nice, less crowded spot. We stopped here at the end of the day and enjoyed a private view of a nice waterfall. It does not compare to the sheer size of Gulfoss bit it was definitely cool. Would be a great space to picnic.

Faxi falls is a little off the tourist route and easily wheelchair accessible by car. Drive to the bottom and your right there or park at the top and follow the board walk down to an awesome view over looking everything.

Great hidden waterfall, much less touristy, and nice restaurant where you can eat on the patio next to the falls. In the summer, you can see salmon here

Off the road with little markings. It's got some great views. Try to get here before the tour buses but even then, there's ample space for photos

Stumbled across this waterfall by accident when taking a break from driving. Definitely the highlight of our holiday. No one else at the waterfall except for a man fishing. You can walk right alongside the waterfall and take some incredible photos. Amazing experience!

It's an impressive spot and looks great at both sunrise and sunset (with the sun it it's winter positions). It's an easy walk to the top but you have to cross the fish ladder (I've shared a photo of it here) which isn't tricky but could be an issue for elderly or very young children. But the view from the top is definitely worth 👌.
