Very pleasant hike, some 2h up with an elderly in the company. Close to the city centre and you can ride a bus there if you don't have a car. Multiple trails available.

Great hiking area. Beautiful views. I was here in March '16, and even though it was some pretty inclement weather (snow, sleet, high winds) the five hours spent trekking here were probably the highlight of the trip.

Breathtaking hiking area near the city. Offers a variety of hikes with varying difficulties and lengths.

A beautiful place to hike. Very well mapped at the base though less so on the trail. Proper equipment is needed if you are to do the more challenging walks.

A very nice hikking area at 20 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Different hikking trails are proposed with different duration and difficulty. The place is moreover beautiful.
