Great view from the fall and the whole landscape. It is differrent from other falls cause each one has an own peculiarity. In the path towards the fall we even admired 2 artic foxes playing.

They have start to build facilities around, so its a perferct spot for a picnic with acces to table and WC. I would highly recommand arriving from the road that arrive from the top of the montain because the view you get while driving there is absolutely amazing.

It is the most beautiful waterfall I’ve even seen. The hike to the top is not difficult.
The toilets were open again, 1,5€ /200 ISK

Magnificent view when you walk to the foot of the waterfall, water is crystal clear. But the toilet is closed for winter season, another pit toilet was put there for temporary use, a bit dirty. They’re building a new paved road to the site so when the summer time comes it should be easier to drive here.

Drove to Dynjandi in March. Waterfall was mostly frozen. roads were extremely dangerous, icy and snowy. Only go here during the winter if you know what you’re doing and with the right car and gear.

This is the biggest waterfall of the westfjords. There's a good parking area with toilets and a trail from the cars to the big waterfall. The climb is a short but a little steep and totally worth it

We loved this hike. It was a good climb for two middle-aged people in semi-shape, but doable with time. Views are simply breathtaking. Worth the drive.

The most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. The pictures don't do it justice as it is absolutely majestic standing in front of it. A little trail leads up to the Dynjandi along some other beautiful smaller falls. Plus you don't see any big tourist buses over here so it won't get overcrowded.

We drove quite a long way for this site and I was afraid to get disappointed given I'd already seen quite a few waterfalls in Iceland at that point. However, the waterfall(s) really did not disappoint. Absolutely breathtaking and probably my favourite waterfall in all of Iceland. Would definitely recommend even if it's a long ride to get there (at least the drive was beautiful).

It's one of my favorite places in Iceland. The cascading waterfalls look absolutely majestic and can be spotted from quite far away. If you decide to stay on the parking lot you'll still have a wonderful view. If you decide to go up the hill to take a closer look at the individual waterfalls, you'll have to take a very good care of yourself and watch your step. As it's often the case in Iceland, the path is almost unsecured and the steps are pretty wild at times. Anyway, when you reach the upper most platform, you'll face Dynjandi and you'll get a marvelous view down. It's really worth the effort, but be very, very careful. Of course, expect some water vapor :)

Absolutely stunning waterfall! Be sure to go there early to beat the crowd, not that it's too crowded in the afternoon but you get to enjoy the waterfall on your own. Also check the road conditions before driving there in winter to spring times as there will be snow in westfjord and the roads can be closed

Dynjandi is a majestic waterfall. Its name means 'thundering' because of the sound it makes, with its 100m of height, and a lot of nice waterjumps. It is simply breathtaking, and definitely worth the visit.

This waterfall is one of five most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. It is a joy to visit and the walking path past all the waterfalls up to the main stunning waterfall is a must. You do not regret to spend at least an hour or two by this waterfall. Although we make the assumption that Dynjandi is one of five most impressive, we are of the opinion that it is actually THE most impressive and beautiful waterfall in Iceland.
