Far less touristy than a lot of nearby spots, and great spot for breakfast or brunch foods - they even serve eggs and yogurt late into the afternoon. Decent prices for Iceland too! Cozy and smaller with a decent amount of seating.

The best coffee I have had in Iceland. Delicious breakfast was a lifesaver after 12 days of terrible hotel breakfasts. Reasonable prices.as always with the qualifier "for Iceland". Free WIFI. We spent a pleasant couple of hours here planning the rest of our trip. Most of the other customers seem to be locals. Friendly and efficient service.

Cafe Berlin is a coffee shop that is directly adjacent to the guesthouse that my partner and I were staying in. It is somewhat compact, and you can get all the usual fare at a cafe, espresso, coffee, latte's, etc. They also have a meal menu, you can order breakfeast and lunch foods, and I believe you can even order beer here as well if you want to start the day a little early. It isn't open past 6:00 p.m., but that's okay - by the time you stop here you'll be ready to adventure after getting your breakfeast/lunch! Wonderful staff, very friendly, they speak English and are happy to answer any basic inquiries about this city and the country. Highly recommended. :D

Small portions? We are here on a whim, despite not seeing any chickens in Iceland I had the chicken wings which were approx 16 pieces of the most succulent meat I've ever had. Way better than what you normally get. I would highly recommend this small cafe.
