Located northeast of the glacier Mýrdalsjökull by the Highland track Syðri Fjallabak, Brytalækir or “The Pursers Brook” is a beautiful spring fed stream. It is not one of major natural wonders in Iceland but when travelling this difficult highland road it is a great place to stop and even camp.
