I stayed at Bryggjukaffi Hostel for 1 night. Flateyri is a pretty town with a population of 180 people. It is located in a very peaceful area of West Fjords. The owner of the hostel was pretty friendly. The hostel offers a decent stay. I lived in a family room which was quite large. The kitchen facility is good as well. They also offer fishing trips etc. during summer. Overall, it is a good choice in West Fjords if you want to stay for a night or two.

Sadly, their coffeeshop was closed as it was still Winter when I was staying here!

Decent, the bathroom floods when you shower from the bottom of the shower stall. I got into bed and there were crumbs. Other than this though it is very nice and the owner is so sweet!

Very friendly owners. It's situated in a small town with only 150 people but close to the capital of Westfjord (around 20min drive) Isafjordur. Got all the basic amenities so not bad for the price you pay for a private room.
