  Decent place. Clean, and right in the middle of Reyjavik. Everything is at walking distance.
  However you are just in the alignment of a landing stripe of the airport , planes landing will wake you up.
  The sleeping accomodations are average. Clean and well prepared but the beds are way too soft and the convertibles way too thin (you can feel the springs)
  
  Overall a decent place that really needs to fix sleeping comfort.

  You have to know that if you book a "family studio" you will be in the garage (not even kidding). The walls are paper thin, you will perfectly hear the street and the neighbors. There is mold in the bathroom and the mirror light doesn't work. It's extremely small for 4, and nothing separate the bed from the couch (bookcase or paravent). Our friends decided to book an other hotel because they wouldn't stay thereit's cheapbut very expensive for what it is! The only good point is the location! The management changed so there is no more common space

  Been here twice for a night each. The quality of your stay depends a bit onw here you are: there are low, street level rooms which are not that ideal due to opening directly out on the street at pedestrian level. The higher rooms in the back are wonderful.
  
  Very cheerful and friendly host and good breakfast. In sum, a very solid choice to stay at when you're in Reykjavik.

  This charming little guesthouse is situated perfectly behind Reykjavik City Hall and its busy commercial district and clubs. Despite of its location, this guesthouse for some reason serves primarily elderly couples. So if you are out partying all night, perhaps another location might be more suitable.
  
  The rooms are quite small but sufficient. There are shared facilities and (living) rooms that are quite close to the bedrooms. This can be difficult, if you want to sleep but your neighbour insists on watching a knitting channel at 11 am.
  
  Breakfast is icelandic standard.
