Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. A wide range of food choice! A great place for brunch or breakfast. Recommend! By the way, they also have good coffee!

Food is amazing, service is wonderful. It's just a nice little tucked away Cafe! Prices are not bad, a meal costs around $20, and you get a lot of food!

This place saved us after a overnight flight into Reykjavík. One of the the only restaurants open early. The bonus—their food is great!
You place your order at the counter, and sit where you like. There’s a coffee station, so once you’ve ordered you can go back for refills.
The salmon is AMAZING! And there’s something for every budget. Staff is friendly and attentive. Thinking it’s a locals joint, as clientele seems to know each other.response / report this review -

Best meal we had in Reykjavik. It was so nice to finally eat vegetables! Plus it was delicious. Of course, it was expensive ($22-26 for a plate) but compared to everywhere else, that puts it in the reasonable range. The flavors were great, it was filling, and substantial. This just became my favorite restaurant in the whole country.

Their toast plates are amazing. I has the salmon and eggs on toast and the name does not do it justice. The toast is a slice of crusty fresh whole grain sourdough that has been fire toasted, topped with scrambled eggs that have the perfect amount of moisture and then slice upon slice of cold smoked Atlantic salmon. I am from Alaska and this is the best smoked salmon I have ever had.

Easily the best breakfast place in Reykjavik. You can go for a long weekend to Iceland, do the golden Circle, do the Blue Lagoon and start every day here. You see plenty of travellers you can ask for tips where to go and you'll definitely start with a hearty breakfast here.

Great early morning spot right near bus stop number 1. If you arrive on an early flight one of a hand full of places that open early. Had some really great Porridge and the Latte was excellent. Service was great.

The food was decent. We were hoping to be able to try the fish but it wasn't ready at the time we visited. The menu was rather small but the staff was good. The interior of the place was a nice cozy feel. Worth at least stopping in for a quick bite.

Great food and Cozy vibe. I had spinach lasagne with salad which both tasted great. A big portion for a reasonable price. The vibe and decorations are retro cozy and the staff is friendly.

We had a wonderful time. I feel like this is one of those local places that not a lot of tourists know about.. Really great service and atmosphere it wasn't overcrowded and we felt relaxed and not rushed.. We luckily didn't even need to make a reservation and were seated quickly.

Amazing experience. Super friendly and welcoming people. The food was exquisite. A very cozy location. Our first restaurant in Iceland so we're not sure if they're all smaller like this one.

They just started serving dinner here and it's wonderful! Large portions, fresh seafood and meats. Excellent service in this cozy bistro. I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 because they ran out of so many menu items the night we were there. They still have a few bugs to work out but it's well worth going.

Wow. I grew up with fresh fish and this place cook fish amazingly well. One of the best meals I've ever had. The cod was so fresh and well-cooked (I would say heavenly well-cooked). The spices was perfectly balanced. The veggies were crunchy yet soft and tasty. The side dishes were flavourful. From the bread and olive oil, the draft beer to the main dish. My husband and I are overwhelmly satisfied with both price and excellent quality.
PS: We came back for breakfast and lunch during our trip. All worth it. The lamb stew and the any fish meal are out of this world.response / report this review -

I went here twice during my stay in Iceland. It was my favorite breakfast and coffee spot. Their bread plate and breakfast plate are SO tasty. Just great quality food! And there regular coffee was perfect and there is free refills. To add to the reasons why I loved this place are: the service was amazing and the interior is cozy, cute, and stylish. I loved just hanging out, drinking coffee and enjoying the people watching. Highly recommend.

It's a small place and can fill up very quickly! Very good food and a great stop for breakfast since it is open pretty early. They are very friendly and a good stop for a tourist.

Great food and open early which was very convenient for when I arrived to Reykjavik from the airport and was starving. The breakfast has a variety of food with bottomless orange and apple juice. It's got a cozy atmosphere with a number of pillows and fur blankets along the benches.

Top rated by travel advisor and lonely planet for a reason. This place has the best bread we've had in all of Iceland. Other reviews weren't kidding when they said they would come back just for the toast. Ordering is easy enough as the menu is on the smaller side, we both had the bread platter and were not disappointed. The bread is soft and delicious, and it comes with cheese and prosciutto, as well as a soft boiled egg. They have additional jam (a very tasty local berry variety), peanut butter, and butter for your bread available as well. The cappuccino comes with four small chocolate chips in a spoon to stir in which was a pleasant surprise.
We visited in February and had no wait, but space is limited and I can believe that would be a substantial wait in the high season.response / report this review
