Very nice and specific atmosphere which is amazing. New yards are fantastic. Many changes are made from the last 5 years. Sure you will enjoy visiting it.

A holy shrine with a small museum. There are also some official guide from the international affairs office of the shrine.
The surrounding area is developing so the entrances to the shrine may be different from what is on the map.

The holy shrine of Ahmed, emam Reza brother. Shahcheragh means king of the Light in persian. It's located in traditional region of Shiraz. Guidance is perfect. The building has eye catching architecture.

One of the 3 most important holy shrines in Iran. Free entry and (mandatory) guide for visitors. Bags and cameras are not allowed inside but phones are ok. The guides are quite knowledgeable and help visitors get a better understanding of the place and religion in Iran. A must in Shiraz. Unfortunately entry to actual shrine (with its actual impressive decoration) does not seem to be allowed for non Muslims, but this is loosely enforced so you might want to try your luck

Beautiful holy shrine. If you are not Moslem, they make you wait for a tourist guide even if you are in company of locals. Plus you cannot enter the praying rooms. You only can visit the yard and admire the building facades. The guides speak very good English and will give you brief introduction to the history of the place, point out some architectural details, introduce the imam buried there and some religious insights.

Holly shrine. The Shrine of Ahmad, brother of Imam Reza(the 8th Shi'at innocent Imam).I recomend visit ther after sunset but its beautiful during day too.

Breathtaking and free to visit. After paying for multiple overpriced disappointments in Iran this is a real treasure. They even let women into the men's section. 5/5.

They treat you differently if you are foreigner and if you are from another religion. Although everybody was coming and entering freely, they made me wait 15' to enter because I was foreigner. They put a police next to me while visiting because I was foreigner. They forbid me to enter to the mosque because I was foreigner. A good place to be a foreigner.

One of the most impressive Muslim building I've visited since now. Very beautiful at night. The guides are very welcoming and try to answer every question. We were also invited to take a look in the smaller shrine.
For western tourists it is forbidden to go inside on his own but you can get a free tour on the entrance. The quality of the tours is definitely depending on your guide.

This is quite possibly the best Islamic structure in Iran in my honest opinion. Even better looking than those in Esfahan. And the best part? I went there at 1am!!! It was amazing to just soak in the atmosphere and walk around in awe of the mirrored ceilings. They were absolutely stunning and intricate. Also, admission is FREE.

Shah Cheragh is a mosque with an interior decoration consist of millions of pieces of mirrors. It is so bright and full of light, makes it hard to grasp at first glance. You haven't seen Shiraz if you haven't seen Shah Cheragh.

The most beutiful shrine in Iran IMHO (I haven't seen them all, of course). I arrived here before 11 pm, such night sightseeing was more attractive than during a day. All lights were on, it was after the rain and on the ground lights were reflecting / shining / glowing in puddles. The view was breathtaking. Just take a look at my photos.
