فارغ از زیبایی و متحیرانه بودن آثاری که به نمایش گذاشته بودن، به نظر من موزه لوور در تهران دو تا مشکل اساسی داشت. یکی عدم وجود نور کافی و مناسب برروی قطعات که گاهی واقعا مانع درست دیدن جزییات میشد و دومی که واقعا خیلی آزار دهنده بود مکان و خط ریز تابلوهای مربوط به هر اثر بود، چون هم پایین نصب شده بود و هم نور خوبی نداشت بطوری که برای خوندنش باید حتما جلوی تابلو خم میشدی یا مینشستی تا بتونی بخونیشون واسه همینم توی اون ازدحام جمعیت فقط دو سه نفر همزمان میتونستن بخونن و کلی مشکل ایجاد میشد.

Well organized museum with decent garden to hang out. Louvre museum in Tehran was pretty amazing. Highly recommended!

This museum consists of two different parts.
One is about the ancient iran and before invasion of islamic forces to Iran.
Relic and antique objects which were expelored in different historical sites and areas of Iran has been brought to and gathered in this museum.
The second part is about islamic era and after islamic attack to the history and culture of ancient iran.
The new third part of Louvre museum has recently been added to the museum but its brief and temporary. So don't miss it before it ends. May be it never happens to see the originals!response / report this review -

The head and left foot of a Salt Man on display at the National Museum of Iran in Tehran are probably the most far out items among the 300,000 objects in its 20,000 m2. This museum preserves and displays a vast treasure of ancient Persian artifacts from the Middle-East’s Islamic and pre-Islamic history and civilization. More on the Salt Men on Wikipedia.

Много интересен музей! Добре изложени артефакти, но лошо осветление за снимане! Is is a great museum. The presentation to artefact is good but the lightning is not good for taking pictures

a very must-visit place for all types of tastes. you can see the most ancient stuff since palaeo-lithic up to Islamic time. gripping models of ancient Shush, first simple houses and even early humans. strongly recommended.

I enjoyed both the pre- and post-Islamic sections. The displayed items were very precious and interesting. There was a doll from 10000 years ago. Just wow.

Really impressive collection specially the beautifully decorated pottery from back to 6000BC, and the pieces from Persepolis. The museum display itself is a bit old fashioned but it is worth a visit.

The lower floor is more interesting as it's more about Iran/Persia the upper floor is more about stone age etc. Which you can see in many museums.
Funny was that the clerk who is selling the entrance tickets was away so the let us visit the miseum for free;)response / report this review -

Mediocre museum charging you more than 8USD, a fact all the more glaring when so few artifacts are on display for a nation famous for its ancient civilizations.
