Hotel Abbasi is the oldest 5-star hotel in Iran which is decorated so beautifully regarding old traditional Persian symbols. There are so many different separated sections including Safavid rooms (3500 $), Qajar rooms (2500 $) and other rooms and suits in 3 floors. There are different breakfast and dining saloons in each floor. There are also meeting rooms and a conference hall along with a very beautiful break room. In spring and summer, you can use the garden for eating dinner and drinking tea and coffee.

Great architecture. Even if you don't want to spend alot of money for one night staying in this hotel, you should definitely visit the lobby and enjoy Iranian architecture.

Abbasi hotel is definitely one of the best traditional hotels in Iran.
It has an awesome lobby and lots of beautiful rooms and halls. the walls and ceilings are covered by many small pieces of mirror and they are painted in an eye catching way.
In addition hotel has a nice and scenic yard with cafe and restaurant in it, so you can have an enjoyable time specially in the summer nights.
Unfortunately the restaurant and food are not as good as you expect and you may find them awful.

Beautiful hotel, amazing garden and cafe, helpful staff. The size of rooms is good but bed sheets are not neat and have some remaining hairs. You should remember it is an old hotel and we chose to stay there because of the beautiful garden and building.

Conveniently located, very old hotel in Isfahan city of Iran. It used to be a caravan serai in ancient time, now converted into a heritage hotel. I didn't stay but had a quite, lavish lunch in the hotel. Food was great, for a true vegetarian like me it was simply great.
Decorated in bright, bold colours, the hotel reflects an old world charm.
Landscaped garden behind the reception area has many fruit bearing trees and it is beautifully maintained.

I was born and raised in Isfahan and visiting this place after living abroad for almost 10 years, trying to show the beauty of this place to my daughter and my wife. Extremely rude personnel and very low quality of food. I was invited by friend for the dinner and the security could not even find my name in the guest list and not letting me and my wife and our toddler to wait inside for our host to arrive. The food was not tasty at all and not anywhere close to a 4-5 star hotel quality. Its a beautiful environment but you can tell that no one is taking care of this place.

We went only to the restaurant in the garden to have ash reshte ( a stew with noodles, beans and greens). It was really delicious. The atmosphere is quite authentic and pleasant. The garden is beautiful and so is the lobby.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. All the staff are very friendly and professional, they are also very passionate about the building itself. every single member of the Hotel has valuable stories about this stunning place, i have learnt a lot about Persian architecture and the history of the Hotel Abbasi from the staff members. Will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

First I need to mention that this hotel is one of the beautiful places to see in Isfahan. But not a good hotel.
We reserved our rooms 1 month ago and we specifically asked for second floor (the rooms in the first floor are around the hotel restaurant, everyone can see in, no privacy, also really loud environment) we got 2 rooms far from each other on first floor.
Rooms are not like the pictures in the website. Really old, small and smell like food. (Makes sense since they are 2m far from people eating food).
The shower is on top of the toilet.
Also, rooms REALLY need renovation
Visit this place. Don't stay in it.

Magnificent hotel in the middle of Isfahan. It is one of the oldest hotel in the world still standing and is about 300 years old. It was built by the safavid and renovated by Andre Godard. It was initially a "simple" caravansary but is now a rather luxurious hotel. If you have the occasion to eat there or even stay, the bedrooms are splendid.

This hotel is really especial. It’s a historical huge place and you will enjoy visiting it. A big beautiful yard, very nice view inside, great building, nice trees and flowers all together makes it one of the most interesting hotels of Isfahan city.

The Abbasi Hotel, which formerly known as the Shah Abbas Hotel, was built at the time of king Sultan Husayn of Safavid about 300 years ago. It was built as a caravansary to provide lodging for passengers. The Abbasi Hotel is the most beautiful tourist attraction in Iran, so it is equipped with amenities of the five-star hotels in order to give the best services to the guests and passengers. The Abbasi Hotel was built in 4 stories and has 225 rooms and suites, 11 halls and the luxury traditional restaurants.

Very beautiful and historical Hotel. Great garden with fountains and pools. Rooms are old fashion and the price except Garden and history are too expensive. Receptionists are mainly impolite. 2 parts of the garden which are good places tagged and allocated to management guests!!! The guests which paid high price (145 -280 $ per night) couldn't use the spaces even there is no extra place to seat and that section be empty. Hotel managing by an insurance company which is semi governmental and lack of management and miss management are clearly visible in the Hotel

I absolutely love this hotel. I have stayed here twice and I would still love to go back. It's a tourist attraction in its own right. The gardens are amazing, especially in spring and at night. The interior decoration is also spectacular.

The Abbasi is one of Iran's most interesting hotels. It used to be an old caravanserai. You feel the flair of the past.
It has several restaurants. The most popular one is the big restaurant inside the courtyard. The rice and the kebabs are good. What makes this place special, is having dinner in that beautiful atmosphere of the courtyard.
Compared to western standards the service may be three stars, but for local standards it is very good.

I would highly recommend at least once visiting Abbasi Hotel. Garden is gorgeous especially during the night. Rooms are OK (not perfect and outdated). Price for rooms is unreasonable.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and these are cons and pros in my opinion:

Pros:
A) staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
B) Hygiene and cleaning was very good. Towels and bed sheets were clean and staff were cleaning rooms
rooms everyday.
C) Breakfast is free and you don't have to pay anything for it.breakfast is also very through and complete.
D) Rooms , decorations and painting are really beautiful.

Cons:
A) Hotel is located near a busy street . if you book a normal room, the sound of traffic will really annoy you.specillay if you are not used to heavy traffic in Iran.
B) You have to pay for using gym, swimming pool and sauna.No good!
C)There is no microwave in the rooms.

There is no doubt that one would be mesmerized by the magnificent garden and beautiful architecture of the main building of this hotel. However, we booked one of the regular rooms in the back side as we only needed a place to sleep and wanted to spend most of our time outside. The room was extremely old and was missing so many items that one expects to see in a normal room such as hair dryer or iron. The washroom lock didn't work and there was a crack on the toilet seat. Thankfully the shower pressure was the only thing that made up for many of its short comings.
