Thanks to Robbie and Paul of Callister Removals top lads. They helped my son Tom move from Coventry in UK to Port St Mary Isle of Man delivered stuff to his flat 9.30 am am on Friday excellent service and highly recommend would definitely use again. Thanks again.
One of the best removals and storage bissness on the island
After a removal company let us down last minute, Callister Removals stepped in, not only giving an extremely competitive quote (without visiting the property), but stopping the stress from the moment they arrived. Vickie, Rob and the team talked and walked us through the whole process with patience, professionalism and a helpful, cheery attitude. This was a long distance move for us from Manchester to the Isle of Man and it went unbelievably smoothly. I would recommend Callister Removals to anyone planning a move. They truly are the best in the business.
Callister Removals have moved my family on several occasions and I couldn't rate them highly enough. They're honest, professional, hardworking and, quite frankly, help to take the stress out of the planning and execution of moving home.
In our most recent move Callister's also did our packing and stored our belongings for a few weeks until our new house was available (services which we hadn't used previously). It made the process really easy and if we move again we'll definitely do this again.
Callister Removals stole expensive items from my packaging. They did not follow international removal protocol. They sell a good story, but they brought the moving date forward two weeks and I was packing a family of four on my own. They said they packed everything and they didn't pack anything. The screws for my media stand were all lost and had to be replaced. The Paul moaned everytime he came to collect boxes and said the container was nearly full. When the container arrived, the people who unloaded it were surprised by how empty the container was, Callisters would not allow me to see the container when they were packing it up. They 'couldn't find' boxes that contained my daughters clothing, electronics and two kitchen boxes. Because the manifest only said 'misc' I couldn't claim off the insurance. Paul picked up a 2 T.byte drive separately and kept it! Living in NZ. without a job I couldn't fight it in the courts and they refused to communicate. Trust me, that's only half the story. You might get lucky, but it's your stuff and they really don't give a toss. Avoid at all costs!!! It will cost more in the end.
