I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this place. Came here today for lunch on a whim with two friends and was very impressed: quick service, lovely staff and quite a varied menu. I decided to go with the easy option of jacket potato with beans and cheese and was amazed at their different take on it! Definitely vamped up my perception of a simple jacket potato. My friends had the chicken pie and the harissa spiced chicken wrap and both were very happy. Portion sizes are perfect. Would definitely return

Really enjoyed our meal last night. There were 25 of us for a set price menu, the service and meal quality (and taste!!) first class. As was the service from Sharron and her team! Thanks for a great night, our staff throughly enjoyed themselves. If your reading this review this cafe is well worth a visit, nice decor, great sea views with outside seating and you get to spot a plane or two as well!

I went to a party hosted and this little gem on the island and had the most amazing food and gin cocktails. The food was outstanding and the variety was brilliant. The staff were brilliant! Well done to Sharon and your team, you can all be very proud of yourselves!

Great location where you can look across the water to Fort Island or watch planes coming and going at the airport. We enjoyed our meal which was all home cooked and delicious. Sharron and Scarlett are a lovely front of house team - friendly and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely visit next time we are on holiday.

Would just like to express our sincere thanks for an absolutely fabulous New Year Party 🎉 Our whole group had so much fun and agreed it was one of the best party evenings we’d ever had!
Please pass on our thanks to Sean and his kitchen crew as the food was absolutely delicious and to the waiting on staff who were smiley and super efficient.
The DJ was brilliant playing mega ‘cheese’ all night long and the whole atmosphere at Cafe Bar Two Six was just spot on.
We also took advantage of the Cafe Bar Two Six bus collecting us and dropping us safely home and the driver was friendly and helpful.
Finally a big thank you to Sharron for your assistance in our booking and organisation.

I phoned and booked a table for all the family with a gentleman for Easter Monday. We turned up to only find out our booking wasn’t in the dairy. Customer service and apology could have been much better!

We loved today’s meal cooked by Chef Will from ChefWorks, we will definitely be back. Everything was superb, from the starters, main course and deserts. Totally worthy of the 5*s

Been lucky enough to go twice now and both times its been superb, a proper treat, staff are lovely, courtesy bus is brilliant and the food is the best around, im vegan and both times the chef has spoke in advance and arranged a meal both times i was happy for a suprise and both times it was delicious would highly recommend to any other vegans and according to people ive been with the other meals were brilliant too, well worth every penny, look forward to being able to go again

Recently went here for our bookclub Xmas meal. We were picked up by Taxi, arrived to a cozy and warm restaurant. Each person thoroughly enjoyed their food, the portions sizes were perfect and desserts divine The service from taxi driver, chef and front of house were 5 star. Highly recommend.

I've eaten here a few times. It's great. A bit remote, but they have a mini bus available, if you require that. I'm a good cook and very fussy. This place would do well any where. The opening times are a little quirky, so ring before you go there. Really top notch venue, service and food, in a casual setting. Can't recommend it highly enough. Well done you!

Went here for lunch after a long walk, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, service was really quick and the food was delicious - my partner and I both had the burger and it was possibly the best we've ever had. Nice atmosphere and a good range of options on the menu. Would definitely come back.

It is a lovely little place, described as a cafe, but don't be fooled, the food here is most definitely restaurant standard.
The menu seemed a little restricted but what came out was absolutely gorgeous.
Fish fingers were like pieces of lightly battered fish rather than normal fish fingers and were great.
Salmon fish cakes were the size of a golf ball but plenty of them and again were delicious.
I had the burger, which apart from being nice and big was very very tasty.
They have an excellent choice of drinks and as for the desserts well you will have to try them because anything i write won't be anywhere near as good as they tasted.
Not the cheapest place but very very nice and can't wait to go again.response / report this review -
