The food is just bad. Nothing was wrong in our experience, the service was fast and efficient, the place is designed nicely and maintained. Only problem is that the food is just bad, all 4 of us just didn't like at all what we got not is a level to send it back to the kitchen because it really seems that's the level of the food.

This was our second visit to Mexicali after a first good experience a few months ago. We will not be returning. We ordered a vegetarian dish and were mistakenly served a meat dish. Only after a few bites did we begin to have suspicions The manager apologized and compensated with free dessert but the mistake had been made and it ruined the evening for the vegetarian diner who couldn't take another bite all evening. Luckily the consequences were not disastrous They could just have easily served nuts to a customer with allergies too. There are not many TexMex options in Herzeliya so I'm sorry to have to take Mexicali off my list, but it doesn't seem right to eat in a place that doesn't respect its customers! Apart from this the atmosphere is good, the service OK and the food not bad depending on what you order.

Me and my wife are regular here. Since their great opening, the prices went up and the food quality + proportions went down. Now they even charge on extra sauces !

We'll look for somewhere else to calm our Mexican tummy.

Nice place, always good service. Food is good most of the time, one time we got burned burger and they made another right away with extras as compensation. Waitresses are always very nice and fast.

Oh my god! This is by far the best Mexican food in israel. This is place is associated with the Moses chain, so expect great service and really good food.
Weather you crave for Mexican food, or never tried it, you owe it to yourself to visit here.
