Even though they are a chain all their baking is done on the premises. That means that all their baked goods are fresh and of course tasty and very "morish".

While it looks like a modest bakery, they really know their stuff! The rugelach is suggested in every review for a good reason. Syrupy but not too sweet, with some walnut tones, it's definitely a must try. They sell them in boxes as well as freshly baked, but the freshly baked ones are absolutely divine. For 15 NIS you can have more then enough delicious sweets (And this is coming from a guy who's not so much into candy!)

Do NOT leave Jerusalem without stopping here! The fresh, warm rugelach is amazing! It's like tasting a piece of heaven! We always bring 5 or 6 boxes home with us and freeze themthey reheat well in the oven. Highly recommend stopping here!

Adjacent to the bustling Machne Yehuda market, Marzipan offers high quality freshly baked pastries like no other. Their pièce de résistance is chocolate rugelach, sold individually or in boxes. Don't accept imitations! Your mind will be blown.
