This is our fourth time at the Leonardo club. We're satisfied with everything :
food, room service, pool staff.
The receptionist Maksim gave us a most comfortable room we ever had.
Well, I am by passing bicyclist.
First impression the door keeper.
Seems, he doesn't like bicyclists.
Then the registration desk:
As I am not a hotel guest, they gave me an extra wait
The hotel is very close to the beach. I learned that this is an all inclusive hotel
Update:
After three more visits they became more friendly. Door security and bell desk.
Bell desk staff speaks three languages: Hebrew, English and Russian because of their guests from that country.
Cons:
Understaffed, mediocre food at best. Took over an hour to get someone to pick up the phone. Hotel is a bit outdated and could use some renovating. Not enough elevators. We didn't use the spa but it was very crowded. You can hear everything in the hallway while inside the rooms.
Pros:
Location is very good and the beach was nice.
Free mediocre booze all day. Buffet has decent variety of mediocre foods. Rooms have a tiny balcony with a good view (at least ours did).
Overall the hotel is decent but definitely overpriced. If you enjoy unlimited quantities of mediocre food and booze then you will definitely be satisfied. If you don't enjoy the food then you are paying a lot of money for an average hotel with a good location.
I stayed in the hotel for a weekend in December with my family. The bottom line is do yourself a favor and go to another hotel. The worst was the dirty dinning room. The floor is sticky, flies are flying around and the dishes, mainly cups, are mostly dirty. I had to go through about 10 cups until I found one that was not disgusting, in every meal. The stuff is mostly nice and kind but some text or answer their phone while serving you..! The rooms are extremely dated, there were only 2 electricity outlets in the room, non of them were at the bed side. Seriously dude, now days a room of 4 people needs at least 6 outlets. The air-conditioning hardly worked and same goes to the hair dryer. Will not stay in this hotel again !!!
The beach is very nice and overall good value option in ein bokek but the hotel itself seems run down. Eating is only inside and cleanliness was medium at best.
The lobby smells like toilet spray you want to puke the rooms are falling apart the value for money is very low
Unfortanately was here for a job. This hotel strongly demonstrate that you get what you pay for. For those who love "for free" probably will be a good choice.
This hotel is good. The pros are that it has it's own beach, which is great because it's just a 2 min walk, Also there's unlimited food and drink everywhere.
The cons are that the staff isn't that patient. The food is very varied but not so high quality. It takes a really long time for the lift to arrive and some of the lifts weren't checkd lately and it says on the security sticker that it is dangerous to use. I'm young so I don't really care about the lifts nor the inpatient staff, besides that everything is great.
Great place. Good location right on the beach , tasy and versatile food all around you.
Food 5Cold. Bar. Only beer. Infraestructure poor. Its a 3 star hotel. The hotel and activities are not prepared for international visitors.shows signals.. agenda even not all speak english.
Good food, bar, view and crew. Bad room condition, very bad shows and entertainment. Beach is far from hotel (150 meter from the swimming pool)
Summery: vacation inside of hotel only, bring your own entertainment from home
This hotel is a disgrace.
It is the worst experience I, as a vacationer, have ever had.
We ordered a junior suite weeks ahead, yet when we arrived we recieved a family room, which is by far a downgrade. The hotel workers have no clue what they are doing, it is total chaos and we were stuck trying to talk to hotel representatives for four hours!
The hotel is swamped with people waiting for their rooms, there is zero place to move.
Beside the management issues and in-capability the hotel smells like one big urinal.
This is supposed to be a luxurious hotel with 4.1 stars. Terrible.
The hotel is in much need of some updating. The staff are very helpful but the hotel lacks investment. The rooms are tired and the pool area requires some big improvements to make it more safe for children. There are however some beautiful views to take in. The hotel has a lot of potential with some asthetic improvements
Needs a renovation, rooms dated. Swimming pool excellent and hotel located next to beach which is good for a quick dip in the sea. Food delicious but other hotels have more selection. Lifts old and small, so a long wait during busy periods. Overall happy with stay but unlikely to return until it has had a revamp.
Dont go there. The worst place ever!!
The staff just don't care, it is no more than a 3 star travel lodge that looks like a 4/5 star hotel in beautiful surroundings, they told us we were V.I.P guests when we checked in but we weren't able to use any of the V. I.P benefits, plus the room was very basic
Room is not clean; sticky stuff on table, mirror dirty, towels are grimy and the bath mat is used from previous guest. I found the buffet to be scary! Food looked like it had been sitting for awhile, my drinking glass was dirty. All I can say is I am not impressed and very disappointed!
OK hotel.
Location - 5 minutes driving from the center.
Food - Presentation of the food isn't great but the food is good. Big selection and not too oily.
Room - Rooms are big with minor issues.
Staff - Very good service!
