I went there last summer and what we encountered was a disgusting room. We checked in and went inside the room, only to find splotches of a red substance on the floor and hair on the bed. Then, they moved us to a two-floor suite, and we found some scratches on the stairs. If they had better housekeeping, it would have been better. my family went to stay at the King David Tower(beatuiful!!)

The hotel is beautiful. Every suite is big, modern and with a panoramic sight, specially in higher floors. There are some disadvantages that make it not a 5-star. For example:
- My room didn't have two bathrooms. The only bathroom was accessible just from the main room. That implies that, who sleeps in the other room, can't take a pee at night without bothering the people who sleep in the main one.
- 29 floors and only three elevators. Every time I went to my room (floor 24), I had to spend at least 5 minutes on an elevator, with almost 10 people, all sweaty and hot (as the elevators' AC's don't work).

Great location but lousy service. I rented a 2 bdrm and arrived late at night after a very long flight. I went to my room and didn't see a 2nd bdrm and thought I had erred about renting a second bedroom. In the morning, I saw a door just behind the room's entry door, which was locked. I wasn't sure if it was the 2nd bedroom or a room unrelated to my room. I inquired at the front desk who told me I should have known to call to ask them to unlock the door! I didn't even see it until the morning and besides, if you rent a 2 bedroom, both rooms should be accessible. My son slept on the couch that first night. No one in management gave me a discount though I asked repeatedly for some kind of refund. Stupidly, I gave them a second chance a few nights later. I rented a one bedroom. The couch was filthy but I had disposable wipes. Big problem was with internet. It didn't work, then it did and then it stopped completely. I spent three hours trying to get them to actually look into it. When they finally agreed it was broken, they said they'd move me to another room. I asked them to check other rooms on my floor but they said no one else was on my floor. Then they found a room on my floor to move me to only to come back to say the internet there was spotty. Unreal. They finally moved me to a totally different floor3 hours later! No compensation, just apologies. In the morning, I requested a late check out to speak with management but I was told they were sold out and needed to clean rooms. Mind you I had been the only one on the 14th floor til they moved me. They lie, deceive and do not take responsibility. The view is great but the service is lousy.

Good but overpriced (but what isn't overpriced in Israel these days?). Located a bit far from the center of Netanya where the action is (20 minutes' brisk walk from Independence Square) - so there's always a temptation to use just the hotel's facilities (including restaurants, mini-market/convenience store at the promenade etc.). All these are also overpriced in my opinion.

The worst experience ever! They ruined our 10th anniversary. The promissed "luxurious suite" in fact is a sort of cheap basement room. Refer to pictures i took there.
