Now called פאראקאלו Paracalo. A Greek restaurant. The location is the best you can ask for. You can sit facing the ocean, Felling the light breeze from the sea watching people go by as they walk along the promenade. Food is ok prices are on the high end, service on the lower end. But then again, why would you want the waiter to bother you with details? Just enjoy the view

My wife and I stopped here thinking it would be a nice place. Everything seemed fairly new and appropriate. Service took forever. When we finally ordered our appetizers came out with our food, along with an entire meal we didn't order. To be polite, and being rather hungry, we decided to simply keep the meal (chicken kabob). Once other small meals complete we moved to the extra order, which upon inspection was definitely undercooked. It being chicken and not wanting to risk it, we asked if it could be put back on the grill, which they did. Had to wait quite a while again, which wasn't unexpected, but the view of the Mediterranean was mesmerizing. When it came back out, it was undercooked again, but we figured that maybe it was how they marinated their chicken. I tried a few bites, and you could easily tell that some bites were cooked and others not. We decided not to eat. Took another 20 minutes just to get the attention of our server and ask for bill. At this point I was getting a little antsy. We politely explained that the chicken was undercooked twice and that we didn't eat it and asked that it be removed from the bill. He said he would check with the manager, which took another 10 minutes. Eventually he said they wouldn't take it off. Disappointed we paid what ended up being around $80 American. Later back at the hotel I threw up three times. I hate giving bad reviews, but needless to say, we don't recommend this place at all.

Worst place, amazingly BAD service, food was rather tasteless and overpriced, we only went in there as they don't allow "a none paying customer' to use their toilets, and even they weren't so clean.

    Avoid at all cost.

Nice staff, but the choice on the menu was a little simple and not enough. Definitely not for the price you had to pay. But it's a nice place to sit out of the sun and worth to stay a few hours.

Scammers - avoid at all cost! Stopped by this chilled looking place in the promenade this evening for drinks and desserts. Decent location, OK Pina Coladas and OK choc cake & cheesecake. A bit pricey but so far, so good. We asked for the bill, which stated 198 nis and paid with card. We got our receipt (I've uploaded a photo). When we arrived home where our relatives could translate the hebrew text, we realised that the actual bill INCLUDING service charge amounted to 165 nis. We were apparently owed 33nis refund in cash (which of course we never asked for, or received) which the bartender just added to the bill to scam us. Never again!
