Rented a car startinf from 9AM IN THE MORNING. Had to wait more than 3 hours to get the car coming from TelAviv. worst rental car customer experience ever, i’ll never use HERTZ again.

Staff was friendly enough. But most of the cars they have are in a VERY poor conditions! Old, huge mileage, scratches, not clean, etc. won’t recommend anyone.

Very unpleasant rental experience - more than an hour, and got a car with heavy cigarette smell. Our car was not ready so they offered a small upgrade. While speaking to us, the rep asked a worker to go and fuel the car, but the guy lingered. So after a while the rep, exasperated, left to get the car himself. We were told it would take 15 minutes but the wait was about 50 minutes after the paperwork was done. Meanwhile we shred the tiny waiting room with the guy who was supposed to fuel our car, and at some point he even tried to shoot a paper ball to the waste basket and hit me instead. The car we got smelled badly from cigarettes, but by then we were too late to ask for another.

Our reservation price to pick up at this location and return to the airport was useless. You have to add $16US a day for 3rd party liability insurance. How you could rent a car without that is surprising and so it should have been in the reservation price.
Then to drop off at the airport, as specified in the reservation, we were told there is an additional fee if $42US for the 'airport fee'.
As usual throughout the world shysters and ripoff artists quote in US dollars to squeeze more blood from you in the exchange.
This is the first rental place in the world I've been asked to show the terms of my credit card providing collision coverage-so have that handy.
The vehicle inspection amounted to the attendant saying 'I've noted everything, so don't worry'. Taking some of the worry away was the fact that the car was quite beat up and had dents on all sides. There was also a security device that you have to enter a code into before the car will start. However the explanation for this by the attendant was so cursory we had problems on the road and had to call roadside assistance for them to explain it: after the code you should hear two beeps before the system releases fuel.

we just passed by, without reservation ,wanted a car for one day. no problems, very friendly staff , good price. we knew about the problems with overnight parking. as we came back after our excursion, half hour late, the door was closed but one of the clerks still there. he opened his computer up, took the car back and we saved the overnight parking fee!

I waited 2h30 to have a car reserved by internet. The car was filled with shocks, scratches and dirty. The stained seats. In short the horror! And to add there is no baggage cover: it disappeared. And they reply: "Well, there's no more!" Practical when you have luggage! So Hertz is the hirer to flee to Tel Aviv!

They are eager to help, and it is not usual in other branches in Israel. So if you have an issue with your car, and team in Eilat of Jerusalem wasn't very helpful, you can try in this location.

It has the service of a small village. Shop is closing at 06:00 pm. No possibility to leave the car key anywhere. A key tresor is not existing. So you have to keep the car, if you need it or not. If somebody is scratching your rented car over night, it is the problem of the costumer !! And be sure you don`t get a parkinglot over night in Tel Aviv. So you can be sure to get a ticket, what is really expensive in Tel Aviv. By that, I paid the renting price once again, to the city of Tel Aviv. Of course this is the problem of the client, because they are unprofessional organised That makes it really expensive to rent a car at hertz. Be aware. And the workers are more interested in their mobil phones, than in the clients. Really unmotivated ! Never again !
