My husband and I rented a Fiat 500 in Tel Aviv and drove to the Dead Sea for a few days before returning. This was our first trip to Israel from the US and I was nervous about renting a car because of all of the terrible reviews of all of the rental companies. Eldan seemed to have the least bad reviews so we went with them.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Eldan. The staff was very friendly when we picked up the car. Everyone spoke English well, so there were no issues trying to communicate. All potential extra fees were clearly communicated. We were reminded to make sure that we filled up the tank before returning to avoid extra gas costs and they even gave us a map and showed us the best route to take to avoid any tolls. No sneaky fees and we didn't end up getting charged anything extra.
The customer service line was great when I had to adjust our drop off location mid-reservation. When we dropped the car off back at the HaYarkon branch, everyone was very pleasant, no damages were noted and they even helped us out with some local shopping recommendations.
I would recommend this Eldan branch 100%.response / report this review -

Staff is unkind and harsh. They gave us a car which was constantly pulling to the right. When we realised it we brought it back. An employee drove the car and said "There's nothing wrong with the car". At least they gave us a new one after we described the problem again and again. Worst service.

Don't rent here. Terrible cars (mine had a defective transmission which was a known problem from the manufacturer weigh Eldan didn't bother to fix). Deceptive pricing. Go elsewhere.
