I will suggest that you go there before 19:00 for supper as it tends to fill up very quickly. Great service, amazing food, large selection of Hevron Heights Wines. The salads and pita are a must! If your group/family can’t choose what to get I’ll suggest to get the meat platter which comes with a variety of meat and two sides, great value.

Happy hour from 5-9PM all drinks 20 and cocktails are 1+1!! Along with every meal comes with a free beer or wine too! Made our night! Service was very attentive until it got busy about 9. Good upbeat music outside. (Recommend NOT getting sweet and sour in the mojito and definitely upgrade the burger with onions and egg, and upgrade the fries to sweet potatoes)

This is the common israeli grill bar you would find in many cities. Seems that they have chosen to add as many diners as possible in little space as possible. The food is no more than standard. Very noisy and limited parking. Saying that, for tourists it is something of the local culture experience

One of the best places we ate while in Jerusalem. You will feel like a local, as most kosher crowd hang out here. Salad deal per person is the best deal on the menu!

I waited a few days to find the time to write this review.
This has been in the planning for about a year, this past Thursday we finally celebrated our sons bar mitzvah in Jerusalem. Right after we finished in Robinson Arch we got on the bus and made our way to Grill Bar for lunch.
We were not disappointed and we knew it the moment we walked in, we had about 60 people.
6-7 tables were already set and served with salads, all looked fresh and tasted great.
I was asked to give them 10-15 minutes notice for when we wanted the meat to come out.
We waited about 15-20 minutes and then gave the sign.
It too exactly 10 minutes for plenty of meat to start coming out and be served on the tables, endless meat I should say.
There was not one serving or one dish that was not cooked right, my guests kept complimenting us about the right choice we made and how good everything was.
We were extremely happy with the crew of servers, with the Chef and with the food especially considering the price was better than any other restaurant we checked with and the food, the price, the service was much better than another restaurant not too far from there which we ate dinner the night before and paid almost twice more per person and were not happy at all mainly with the service.
All and all Grill Bar exceeded expectations and we will definitely go back again when ever we are in Jerusalem.
I know for sure our guests will as well.
Will add pictures when we get our pictures from the photographer.

Staff: very friendly and eager to help, quick and warm service, yet not intrusive, this is the type of service I like most in the Middle East.

Atmosphere: extremely popular with locals, with rather few foreigners, yet the menu was fully translated into English.

Food: Talking about the food, it was one of the two restaurants in Israel which I actually miss and want to go back now! The BBQ chicken was juicy, with an attractive smell of charcoal. They roasted the meat just to the right point, tender and tasty!

From 12:00 - 17:00, they serve "Business Lunch", for only 65 NIS, you get 2 skewers, salad, bread, drink, side dish, it's definitely one of the best values you can get in Jerusalem. And I don't go there because of the price, I went there because they really made everything so delicious!

Suggestion to visitors: better go there at 12:00 for lunch, or around 19:00 for dinner. The restaurant tends to fill up quickly, one moment you see nobody, then within 3 minutes, the restaurant would be filled up! If you arrive too late, you may have to wait outside for a table.

Conclusion: A restaurant with vibe and values, yet maintain high quality of food, you don't want to miss it! :D

Good food. Israeli Middle eastern style. Not the most incredible food, but it's reasonably priced and decent service.

A bit lacking in ambience. Too much florescent light.

    Otherwise enjoyable.
