We ordered take away; myself and a vegan coworker. When we arrived, the place was empty.
My order was ready in ten minutes. Hers took a half an hour for soup and a bowl of rice. After mine came out, we started to ask after hers. 'It's coming, it's coming.' It wasn't coming.
When we finally caught the manager's attention, we got a quick explination on how sometimes orders take time, especially when someone orders pick up and there's a busy lunch line. Please note the first paragraph; we walked in to an empty eatery and ordered in person. We ended up with no plausible excuse for the time wasted other than the conclusion that they lost the order, and no apology of any kind.
Fast forward to us finally arriving back to work at the tail end of our lunch break. My order of pad thai, extra spicy, extra sauce came bone dry save for a layer of grease, little or nothing beyond a meager portion of noodles and a heap of peanuts. A few slices of hot pepper amounted to the whole of the flavoring of my dish.
My colleage opened her rice to a wad of salmon. Elements of her rice were not fully cooked.response / report this review -

I ordered 3 onigiri here. I was surprised to see this on the menu but they are wrapped in plastic just like they are in Japan. They have other really good dishes here but I had a craving for something as light as onigiri. The waiter was a little airheaded, not sure if it was his first day. Other than that, I would come here again because of the variety in their menu.

What can one say that hasn't been said about this institution. Hasn't changed for more than a decade, but why change a winning strategy. Expect a nice decent tasty meal. No more, no less.
