Horrid Jew man runs place like a military operation. His helper a black man is subjewed to military command. You are never alone and there is a jar for tea money. Fridge always chained up have to ask for the key then he opens for you and closes again. I`ll never go back there. Money is this mans god also he has a dog that carries bugs around the rooms this place should be closed down.

very central , little familly hostel with nice and cool owner that is also a real chief (so sometimes he cooks very good dishes)
good ambiance good people and good price for tel aviv where hard to find cheap and good place to stay:(
was there few times and will be back. international cool people ambiance
you can cook in the kitchen and relax in thew garden in day or in evening!

Feeling like you're coming in your second home! It's the best place to stay in Tel Aviv! The hostel is really close to the center, the big streets Allenby/ Rothschild with many shops and clubs. Although near is the beach and the market, where you can by fresh fruits, meeting locals and eat handmade humus. The "Chef Hostel" has a nice garden and is very comfortable! I will come back soon!

I think Chef Montefiore Hostel is amazing! It has a great atmosphere and makes people feel at home. It is located in a great place close to bars, restaurants and pubs and clubs, everything you would need to have a night out in the city, with walking distance home! The people who works at the hostel are also amazing, the manager knows several languages and you can easily communicate with him, no matter where you are from! There is a couple of sofas, a tv and carpets on the floors, and paintings on the walls. All makes you realize you made the right decision about choosing this hostel. This is really your home away from home!

Stayed there 8 times and will definitely stay again. Great location, homely environment. nice patio. The hostel is very clean and smells good. The staff is friendly. There is a grocery store right across the street, the market is also very close. The beach is a 10-min walk but the clubs are all very close because the hostel is in the heart of Tel Aviv. Highly recommended!

What an awesome hostel. Has all the amenities you may or may not need ( hair dryers, iron boards etc), nice patio to meet new friends, VERY comfortable beds. Good location if you like to party ( all the main bars are walking distance). Beach is a 10 min walk away. Very homely environment. Highly recommended!

Best hostel ever. Great people, super comfortable rooms and above all an incredible outside area (with pool!) The first time I arrived I stayed about 2 months longer than planned. Then I came back a year later for an equally great time. The location is genuinely unbeatable, right in the best part of the center plus a 10 minute walk from the beach. The owner is a great chef and regularly cooks for his guests. Recommended!
