  TL;DR - The hamburger was good but how the manager shouted on us ruined our Purim holiday.
  
  It was Purim night, the waitress told us that we should get free shots because we came with costumes. We said cool, then when we asked for the shots, she told us "I can't, but order your shots and then I can give you free shots next round". Eventually we did order the shots. When we asked for our free round, she said we need to pay for it as well and that nobody told us that we are getting free shots. We were pissed, and after a lot of asking, arguing and waiting they gave us the shots but the manager started to raise his voice shouting that nobody promised us nothing and that we are lying. We decided to leave the place without taking the shots. If you want an Hamburger, go for it, it is good. But next time I want to drink and have fun with my friends when it's a holiday it won't be The Duke for sure.

  One of the best pubs in Haifa. Lovely atmosphere. Serves unusually high quality food for a pub, including noteworthy desserts. Open during the day and a good place to get a lunch, too. Very popular and frequently packed full - if you plan on coming Thursday or Friday night, call ahead to reserve a place.

  Pros: classic pub atmosphere, clean and well made. The bar is gorgeous. They have special beers like the chouffe. A few high tables outside. Ok service, English and/or Hebrew, by a young staff.
  Cons: so-so food, small portions, expensive. Parking is tough. Crowded on weekends after 9pm.
  Go there for a chouffe, inside at the bar or outside if you're a smoker, and preferably come before 8:30pm.

  Nice Irish Pub with comfortable seats. has a good beer choice (although they don't have many draught beer options). Bear in mind that you might struggle to find a parking lot near the place.

  The place is really overpriced.
  However the food was good, and the service was fine.
  There's an OK selection of beers on tap, and a variety of food choices.
  Note that especially on weekends you should reserve a table in advance .
