Great place to have breakfast or brunch. Fresh pastries are served here daily. There's a nice place to sit outside; I recommend it. I think some of the items are overpriced but I enjoyed my meal and had a great time.

Really cool and authentic place, good food and service, better if you come in the morning because their pastries are homemade and they make them only in the morning so if come later the day there's a good chance there won't be anymore.

If your looking for a quiet refuge in the Hadassi this is our favorite place. Fresh pastries and eggs cooked just like you want with toast and jam and a courtyard surrounded by green young polite servers who speak good English and an attitude of serve rarely seen here I. Israel.

Gal's Bakery is my favorite place to go in Haifa. I get to go once a year and in the remainder of the year I dream about Israeli breakfast at Gal's. Very special place!

First you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Central Carmel, but then you walk off the street and there is Gal's bakery practically encased in multicolored bougainvillea. The first inside area is small, but there is also a lovely outdoor porch under an exiotic tree, and another inside area on the side.
Besides the delicious cakes and pastries Gal's Israeli breakfast is wonderful. There is nothing on the menu that isn't good. This is definitely a place to go with friends to enjoy good food and good conversations. Be aware, however, that they are really crowded on Friday mornings and you will probably have to wait for a table if you go at that time.

Fantastic place, with home like feel and a quaint design. Food is fantastic and different than other cafés. Plenty of room outside, being quiet and pastoral. Bakeries are a must!
