Best camping I've seen so far in Ireland. Lies in a wonderful surrounding overlooking the sea.

Just paradise. An amazing caravan park to stay with all the nooks and crannies to pitch a tent, caravan or motorhome.

Fantastic scenery, probably the best campsite we have visited in Ireland. Although there are no large supermarkets nearby, there is a small supermarket and a restaurant/ cafe at reception selling all the essentials. The lady in reception was very welcoming and gave us lots of information and a map of local attractions and history. The toilet blocks and showers although small are very clean and well kept. Highly recommend this campsite as a base for the stunning beara peninsula, skelligs islands and ring of Kerry!

Decent campsite but a bit cramped and stony for pitching tents in high season. Facilities okish. There's far better in West Cork and Kerry, Barleycove for example.

Wave crest is among the best campsites in Ireland. Nice friendly atmosphere and the pitches are great. Beautiful sea views from a lot of pitches as well. It will be busy during the summer and they don't do reservations, so try arrive early and before the weekend.
