The finest national park in the country. Sublime scenery combining mountains, lakes, and old growth Oak forest where native Irish red deer roam wild. A little taste of what much of Ireland was like until 500 years ago.

One of the best park. Amazing Trails especially The Crack and active Wildlife.

Very pleasant walk within the grounds. It has a well kept large garden area with many amazing plant varieties and trees. It has lots of different Walking tracks by the lake. It has a souvenir shop and fine dinning restaurant, it also has public toilets and vintage greenhouses which are viewable at the rear of the great muckross house, tours are possible by ticket during opening hours.

Incredibly beautiful place with stunning views. Definitely recommend a drive up to and over Molls Gap where you can see the park at its best. Go early or late is best if you want to avoid the coach loads of tourists

So beautiful.it was our first visit to Ireland so we planned stops in multiple cities. If you can manage plan an extra day. The national park is beautiful with great hiking trails that we didnt get to take advantage of. If i could do it over again I would plan an entire day just for the park, And another for the ring of Kerry.
We will be planning a long weekend to go back and take our time hiking around the national park.response / report this review -

Amazing to drive through. I know there are many great spots on the way and they are each enjoyable. But for me driving over those narrow streets is incredibly.
I've not enjoyed being on streets like that in quite some time ;). Make sure to take in the scenery as well and watch out for pedestrians and randomly parked cars.

A gorgeous national park. So much to see from so many angles. I think ladies view might be my favorite vantage point of the park. The waterfall is wonderful, but try to go early before the crowds arrive.

Huge park with some colours that you won't see anywhere else. Nice for a half day relaxing walk in nature.

The most beautiful place and proud to say I'm from here. No matter how much I've travelled the world I always look forward to coming home to seeing this natural treasure. So much to see and do and the history of the place is phenomenal. Love killarney
