A 76 year old patient when in with Fecal Incontinence and was suffering bad with it and then was sent home the same day as they needed more beds for people who were sicker and that's what all hospitals do they think they can send home people who aren't as sick as other to make your for them , even though they might need care
So our GP referred my mother to A&E on 27oct2017 at around 4pm. Got to the A&E and after a few tests the doctor told us that she needed to be admitted.. so despite the fact that she was on trolley (cant blame them it was too busy) for the next 32 hours the care and support she got from all the staff nurses in the A&E(special thanks to Ambereen, Niamh) and the doctors is amazing.Hats off to the A&E team.
she was shifted to the room in 2C and then again such an amazing and caring staff the nurse (think it was phildalphia) looked after her very well. Thanks very much :)
she was discharged after 3 days on 30oct2017.
All the staff try their level best to make the patient feel better.
Lovely and clean hospital.
5 stars!!!

Good, professional team, very friendly an helpful, I don't give 5 only because waiting time, but all hospitals are same in that mater.
+ very chip car park, spend half night there and pay 7 euro
Went to the Maxillofacial Dept recently & the Dr & Surgeon we met were lovely.. Had to get an x-ray done in the hospital as well.. all done in an hour.. its a very busy hospital & i admire all the staff that work here..
I was admitted to A&E with a lung infection and lay on a trolley for 3 days before being taken up to a ward but remained on the trolley as still there was no bed available. The nurses and doctors were truly unbelievable given the awful conditions they were forced to work under. A&E became jam packed with patients on trollies waiting for a bed. I could not help but feel sorry for the Doctors and Nurses as they tried their very best to make us as comfortable as possible and at the same time ensuring that we were fed and given the prescribed meds along with attending to other emergencies. Our hearts go out to these people and we just want to thank them so much for their care and love. Warm regards Linda Napier
Very clean hospital. Long waiting times though. Doctor was very clear. Nice coffee in the Costa.
My holiday home. I go here for rest when I'm sick . Thankfully I'm here that often as I was before
Nightmare of a place to have to go when sick, one of the worst A&E's I have ever had to attend. Nurse's under so much pressure trying the best they can in a system which is so badly broken.
Some homeless was sleeping in emergency waiting area when we took our sick infant there. We came at 18.30 and got to see doctor ariund 23.00o'clock took 10 min check up but another 1.5 hour for nurse to bring medicine and print prescription !!! When we left homeless was still sleeping and by the way there was security guy by the door
