Wonderful bnb! Joyce is very welcoming and would give you recommendations on things to do in the area. It's a very quiet location, 10 minutes walk frmo a charming little beach, that will most likely be empty just for you. The room was comfortable, the price was great, the breakfast was delicious. What more can you ask for?

Amazing place in a beautiful countryside with very welcoming people The room was very comfy and we slept like babies. Irish breakfast in the morning was as good as it should be to start a new day.
I'm so grateful for a tour over the farm in the morning, where I've learnt so many interesting things about sheep and got to feed them.
Will try and stay there again next year for some walks along the beach which is very close.

Outstanding. This B&B truly makes you appreciate what has given Ireland her global reputation for hospitality. Nestled in the picturesque Donegal countryside on a working farm, Trean House envelopes its guests in a peat fuelled warmth that is as relaxing as it is humbling. The accommodation was comfortable, food fantastic and I was even treated to a personal tour of the farm by the owner's two dogs and their ever obliging son. My only concern in recommending this place to others is that once the secret gets out I may find it difficult to book another stay You will not regret staying in Trean House. Enjoy.

I stayed here with my Son in June of 2003. The Lady of the house treated us like Family and went out of her way to provide a relaxing stay. The farm is well kept and close to a lot of thingsGo there.
