Lovely atmosphere & great food. Will definitely be back :)
Very slow service, also found staff a bit rude and unhelpful when I ended up going to the counter myself for juice for my toddler. This was after waiting almost 20 mins for it! When I explained that I was trying to avoid him having a meltdown, I was told in a snooty way that they were "very busy". Which is fine except that two other tables had been served before us, and all we were having was cold drinks and a scone! No apology for this either. I certainly wouldn't consider this a child friendly place as when said toddler picked up a book to entertain himself with at the table, we were quickly shown the price sticker on it 🙄🤑
Small menu but delicious food. Cakes are amazing especially the chocolate fudge cake 😍
Parking is available but this place is usually very busy so be prepared for a wait if you come at peak times
Tea rooms serving good food in a fun vintage setting. The service was great and the atmosphere alive. A wonderful display of cakes - chocolate cake was excellent. Would love to see a selection of fine loose leaf black teas, Barrys is fine but have 3 cups a day anyway.
Very nice little spot hidden away behind Cork airport. It's small so you may be waiting for a table to free up, but its well worth it. The food was really beautiful and wish I tried the desserts. You can buy the various antiques around the cafe as well which is cool. Will certainly be returning.
My friends and I are regular visitors to the Workshop. We book in advance and are always seated quickly. The staff are efficient and very friendly, they always recommend nice dishes and the specials are great. Goes without saying that the food is amazing and always so fresh. Definitely worth a visit.
