  Fine portions from a good menu. The televisions with sports channels blaring robbed it if a star. Otherwise a good place to stop.

  This bar is a little out of the way but well worth the effort to get there for the food. The quality is very high and servings generous at reasonable prices. I usually go for their chicken curry with 1/2 and 1/2 chips and rice, a very tasty meal. The lunch hour carvery is very popular and usually busy. Highly recommended

  I was excited to go here but I was disappointed when we sat down for Sunday lunch.
  The trays were not clean at the carvery, the vegetables were overcooked.
  
  The beef was good, but the roast potatoes were not good and the stuffing was like you would find in a packet, very dry.
  It all lacked taste!
  
  I can understand that they need to cater for many people, but the quality of the food should not have to suffer.
  
  Generally the overall cleanliness could do with improvement.
