My favourite place in Dublin. There is always something fun and interesting on there. I've attended movie screenings (with free popcorn and drinks tailored to the movie), awards ceremonies, presentations and gigs there. Always a fantastic night.

Fantastic gig , watched GoGo Penguin . Pity about the overall attitude of the sugar club. No.1 - Time on tickets was 8 pm. Got there at 7.55 only to find a queue about 100 metres long waiting to go in. 8.35 , got in the club after spending 35 minutes in the rain. No. 2- No seats left. Sugar club overbooked the gig. Shameful . No.3- The band didn't come on until 9.30 , for no other reason than making sure enough alcohol was sold to the customers. Terrible, amateur carry on. Finally, the Sound quality was below standard, the drums ( especially the snare) was too loud. I also don't think the band seemed too impressed with the delay, the noise of clinking beer glasses at the bar, and the sound quality. Great band, great venue, very poorly managed. I won't return.

Love this venue and staff is amazingly friendly! Make sure to arrive early for seats (choose the ones further back when here for a gig as many people will stand in front of the stage and the first couple rows won't be seeing anything while seated!)

What a lovely venue. Its like stepping back in time. We saw the New Orliens Swamp Donkeys here after Too Many Zooz gut stuck in Barcelona and fair play to the venue for arranging an alternative gig at such short notice

The door staff were awesome. Bad bad not good were awesome. The crowd were awesome and friendly. Some of the bar staff need to smile a bit more. They kinda dampened things a bit. Hence the 4 stars. Pity because most of them are very purty. So next time I'm down ladies FFS smile 😁

My favorite place for the occasional nostalgia movie session. Great for a date as well. The whole environment is lovely. Also I love their mojito more than anywhere else's!

A non-conventional night club with great performers featured every week.
Fantastic for a date or a night out with the lads

Went to see a really good band. Was advertised as starting at nine but it was almost midnight by the time the band started. They crowded so many people in it was a fire hazard.
