Had a lovely creamy pint of Guinness here. Will be back for more. The staff were just 11 /10 they were so so nice (and handsome too 😊). Dont pass this place out folks.

Stopped for a burger and a beer. Nice, friendly and a great spot for fans of the Lord of the Rings movies. 3 house beers on offer with a great cocktail and gin menu.

Spent some time in the pub and stayed in the hostel for the night. Pub was a nice experience, the hostel was fine, could do with some new sheets and curtains. The sheet on one of the beds had a big brown patch from who knows what.

Such a cool place for any fan of the Lord of the Rings series! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Hopefully I'll be returning to.this amazing town and will be able to visit The Shire again

Great fun pub with a cool theme. Really enjoyed the spot and the fun drinks. The theme isn't over done to the cost of the bar. It is still a good bar first and foremost. Great atmosphere in there too.

This review is a little bit bias as I am a big LOTR/Hobbit fan. I loved this bar, it has all the LOTR/Hobbit quirkiness you need but not too much that it's in your face. We went there on a Wednesday evening for a drink and some photos, we ending up leaving hours later after midnight as the place was hopping, the live music was great, the barman was very friendly and chatty. The LOTR character beers were delicious and the cocktails also. A definite must for any LOTR/Hobbit to visit. It was the highlight of our 4 day stay in Killarney.

Doesn't quite live up to the billing. I think I had expected a tolkien themed bar. Some arches, rounds of timber attached to the wall and a bit of elven script are about it. There is a good buzz about the place though.

It's just the name, nothing else. Do not expect anything from this bar. It just has the name of JJR Tolkien amazing world. Basically it's just another tourist/hipster bar with boring beer and drinks. A big let down. There are more cozy and beautiful pubs I'm killarney then this one.
