The Sulpting studio has since 2001 continually strived to be the very best in the business and we are pleased to announce we now use Affinage hair colour and recently had Affinage educator Margo Kilkenny visit our salon for a day .Also six of our team members attended a full day colouring course on 21 st May at Gainfort academy Waterford.We have now entered exciting times at the Sculpting Studio and on 12th May and 19th may respectively many of our teams at Ballinakill and Supervalue will attend a colour contouring course and an Advanced cutting course with Chris Munt Affinage ambassador .Exciting times for sure for The Sculpting Studio and we can guarentee you the customer that our teams will be trained to the very highest standards imaginable by a very progressive training provider Gainfort hair and beauty.

This morning I took my 3 year old daughter into your salon on the Dunmore Road for her first hair cut. I was told that a childs trim was not available and that the only option was to give her a wash,cut and blowdry, even though I had her hair washed and ready. We left and travelled five minutes up the road to the Confession Box where they happily assisted. This was a really poor service, I will not be returning.

Entered this hair salon this evening at 7mins past five. Asked if I could have a blow dry. "What sort of blow dry?" I was asked. A straight blow dry with a bit of volume, I answered. I was directed to a basin. There were two members of staff there and no other customers. As I took a seat at the basin I could see the other member of staff gesture to the one that had spoken to me. She !walked over to her and whispered something. The girl then called out to me from where she stood. 'Sorry, she said, we're closed." Weird. Not to mention rude. I left the salon. The owner of this place needs to teach these staff some customer relations. If they were closed she should have said so at the outset, not sent me to sit down at the basin and then basically tell me to leave.
