A peaceful, quiet setting tucked in the countryside with Lough Corrib in the distance, perfect as a home base for exploring Counties Mayo and Sligo. Very private despite being adjacent to the main residence. Patricia and Philip's warm welcome and local recommendations made us feel right at home. The Old Stone Barn is well supplied with firewood to keep warm and basic cookery supplies -- the delicious muffins, fresh eggs, and a fridge stocked with fresh cream and ground coffee were special treats! We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, historic spot immensely. The only wish was that it could have been longer!
