Nice central location, but that's it. Room was over priced. Paid extra for a big king size bed, got 2 single beds pushed together instead, cheap.
Building works continued out the back of the hotel until 9pm, very annoying to hear the tap of a hammer all evening. Room itself was also very noisy because of pipework running through bedroom for all toilets from other rooms on the floor meaning whenever someone flushed, we'd hear water rushing through pipes through our room. This was my wake up call at 6am.
Also, pillows were flat as pancakes, had a crick in the neck the next morning. When we told lady at the desk about our issues her response was "oh dear, I must say that to management", no apology, nothing!
One last thing, if you are looking for an authentic Irish stay, don't bother, no Irish work here.response / report this review -

Love this place! Very nice. Centrally located to the town. Parking is a bit of a pain, but well worth it. The café downstairs is also very nice. Lovely accommodation.

I love this place! The decor is amazing in the common rooms--lots of beautiful pieces from around the world and wonderful artwork! The rooms are tastefully elegant and very comfortable. The Gallery is our favorite. It has a balcony and a lovely view out the front to the park and Lake Ontario. The front porch is a perfect place to gather and schmooz with other guests to discuss the play you've just seen at the Shaw Festival or to share restaurant tips. Breakfasts here are delicious. We usually can skip lunch because we are so happily full after breakfast. The staff and hosts Michael and Linda are helpful and keep this lovely home immaculate. It's an easy walk to town center and the theatres from here, and the surrounding area is just so pretty. We'll be back!
