I wasn't expecting lots from this visit and maybe that was the reason we enjoyed it a lot. We were watching rays being feed, and then Amazon approach to open jar by octopus. She did it in seconds. Amazing!
Bought the annual pass yesterday. Kids loved it, staff were so friendly and really helpful and informative. Excellent.
Be aware that this is a very small sea life. Nothing like the ones in the US. You will be thru it in an hour even with the talks and touch exhibits. It is also quite dated.
The staff are excellent and know their subject so the kids can learn a lot if they ask questions and read the material in the aquarium.
We loved this aquarium, me and my 3, 18, 10 & 5. There were loads of talks which were very interesting, feeding times of the fish and got to touch the star fish. The fish displays were lovely. With lots of information all along the way in the aquarium and little question boards for the kids to read and guess the answers. And the staff were lovely and friendly 😊
We went at opening time in the summer holidays. It was fairly quiet, compared to a similar attraction in London. The exhibits were good and the staff were helpful. They even guided up several stages back on the route, so we could see a feeding. Only complaint is that many of the exhibits were too high for my 3 year old to see without being lifted up.
Good sea life centre. It's surprisingly large. The kids got to see feeding time and touch a star fish.
My daughter is a sea creatures lover it's a good one to see it just in front of you.
I love this place. It is amazing. Such a relaxing, calm environment so many different varieties of fish to see and learn about. Can't wait to go back again for another visit. Fun for all ages! ❤🐢🐟🐠🐡🦈🐚
Small but well worth the visit especially with young kids. Ticket allows re-entry too so you can see different activities. Staff are friendly too. It can get a little crowded and more so with buggies. Glad we visited.
It's small but definitely worth a visit. The staff are all extremely enthusiastic and nice. If you require any information about any of the fish or creatures here they will generally know the answer and go out of their way to help you. There are regular feedings that you can attend where the staff will also provide specific information about the fish being fed. To top it off there is also a regular tough pool where you can touch a starfish. I'd definitely recommend a visit and then a walk on Bray pier or a trip to the arcade or bowling.
