Our dog Cara was sick for a few days and when we brought her in for an emergency surgery it was like bringing her into someone from the family they cared for her so well and kept us up to date. Thanks so much to the team at Athboy Veterinary hospital

They wanted €300 to sedate x-ray + pain killers for my small terrier cross dog. I left with the dog who was in serious need of vetinary assistance I was made feel very embarrassed and upset in an already stressful and upsetting time. I also received a very unnecessary phone call from a staff member who made me even more upset and stressed stating that " no vet would look at my dog for less then €300" . I found a vet in Slane who stated the dog did NOT need sedation to x-ray as he was paralyzed they did four x-rays and gave him strong pain killers all for €60. Thats a BIG price difference. Guess which vets care about the animal's and which is for the money
