Very traditional irish food. Great quality. My first irish lamb stew and its delicious. Juicy burger and meat falls off the bone on the lamb shank. Great find!

Great atmospheric pub. In a lot of pubs in Killarney, IMHO, one is just another visitor, and they are guessing that you are passing tru, and may not be back. But in the Laurels, the staff are attentive, particular the owners ( 2 brothers I think). The food is excellent, service is good and the beer is fresh. Worth a call.

My wife and I visited Ireland for our honeymoon. We drove all around Ireland and this was by far the best fish and chips we had the entire trip. Our waitress was phenomenal also! When the food and service align properly that’s a sign of great management. If we ever go to Ireland again, this restaurant will definitely be on the list of places to visit again.

I ordered a Tureen of mussels braised in white wine with citrus sauce. They gave me so many I had to have my husband help me eat them. The fish and chips my husband had was delicious and had a huge piece of fish. The meal was a good price for the quality. Service was fast and the staff very friendly! Don't miss this place if you want great food and service!

My partener and i went in for some wine, pub was buzzing and very friendly staff. We met great customers and we met a great french man who was great fun he even was busking out side we joined him for a song or 2. We be back well done to laurels

We went to Laurel's for a last pint of Guiness before midnight and to see in our friend's birthday. We brought a cake and candles and the staff was awesome and helped us to make the birthday surprise at midnight. They turnt the light off, lightened the candles and sang "Happy birthday" with us. It was a blast! Thanks a lot!

Was here recently during a trip to Killarney. I had a T-bone steak, my girlfriend the Surf & Turf. The Surf & Turf was good, the steak that comes with it was close enough to medium - as ordered - and overall delicous. The T-Bone was quite the opposite: I ordered it medium, received a completely well-done steak that was a little more than lukewarm. The sides were plenty and tasty, but the steak was a desaster, every bite tasted like regret Getting the attention of the waitstaff was almost impossible and they also didn't bother to ask if everything was ok - which they did for the other tables around us. From what I overheard, the table next to us also had at least one steak that wasn't cooked to their order.
The place was quite busy, but not so crowded to justify this.
To sum it up: You may be lucky and have a nice dinner, but getting food if most tables are occupied might be a gamble.response / report this review -

Killarney is a town built solely for tourism. There are many choices you will have to do almost anything you want for shopping, dining, hotels, pharmacies, etc., in addition to sights. We researched places to eat prior to leaving the US and The Laurels was on the list. In Ireland they say everyone is either a Guinness or a Murphy's man and it was at the Laurels I had my first Murphy's (on tap!). I'm sold. The food is much better than expected but not gourmet. Prices were great and the menu varied enough everyone will be able to find something, including a hamburger. I will go back.

Great spot for having a creamy pint of Guinness. Locals and tourists mix and usually very busy in the evenings. Top notch staff. Free & fast WiFi.
