Homely food at a good price. Steak is from a new butchers nearby - great cut and cooked well. Highly recommend spending the extra for this option!

Room is good, but viewsite is bad - it is view on some roof. Window is broken and can not be locked, only open it (not safe if you go out) or close. Bath cabin is pretty small, but it has termoatatic tap! There is hairdryer but, you can not use it - in bathroom you have a morror but do not have wall socket, and in room you have wall socket but do not have a mirror. :D There are kettle and tea/koffee. Somehow there was no wi-fi. But mobile signal is stable. Please, be carreful on the bar - glasses are dirty sometimes.

    We really liked this place.
It was definitely a good value for money. Tidy, clean and we got a very big room.
To our surprise, we discovered a jacuzzi in the bathroom.
There is just one thing I want to point out here: pay attention to the hot water because it's limited. We tried to use the jacuzzi although we aren't that kind of travellers but, while filling it, the hot water came to an end.
The morale is that not only didn't we use the jacuzzi but also we took a cold shower. So, my advice here is to have a good management of the hot water.
However, apart from this small issue, everything was perfect.
The breakfast was simply amazing and included in the price. 10+ for the staff friendliness.

I have frequented the Lagoon on several occasions and always found the food of a very high standard with a warm and friendly staff. I am looking forward to our next visit in March as we have a break planned in Donegal all the way from Tramore Co. Waterford
